Apr 2015 WH Ambulatory Surgical Center Tour

The Post and sustaining member Skanska USA Building is hosting a Tour of the Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center Construction Project at the JBSA-Lackland, 2200 Bergquist Dr, San Antonio, TX 78236 on Thurs, Apr 30, at 1 and 2 pm.

DESCRIPTION

Construction of the 59th Medical Wing's new Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (WHASC)continues with expected completion date of fiscal year 2016. The 681,000 square-foot state-of-the-art treatment center with patient-oriented features will replace the existing medical center, which opened in 1957. Click HERE for more info about the project.

The will be two (2) tours; one at 1 pm and the other at 2 pm, each limited to 10 participants. The tour will include a visit to the constructionsite and a short presentation. Attendees will meet at the feeder road from Old U.S HIghway 90 to the WHASC NLT 12:45 pm for the 1 pm tour and 1:45 pm for the 2 pm tour on Thurs, Apr 30..

Tour attendees MUST wear closed-toe shoes. Other personal protective equipment will be provided.

RESERVATIONS

The is no cost for the tour. The tour is open to all San Antonio Post members.

All participants must pre-register for the tour by clicking on the 1PM Tour or 2PM Tour registration above.

The deadline for reservations is Fri, Apr 24, 12 noon or until space runs out.

CANCELLATIONS
